What we believe

Empowerment is the whole point

We help you understand yourself — mind, body, emotions, habits, and experiences — and how they work together to shape how you feel.

Feeling bad isn't always being broken

Sadness, worry, stress, and grief are often natural responses to life. We help you tell the difference between a normal reaction and a symptom that needs support.

Care is collaborative

Our goal isn't to erase every hard feeling or reach straight for medication. It's education, skills, coping, therapy, lifestyle change — and medication when it's genuinely right.

Mind and body, together

Because the two are deeply connected, we build sustainable habits — sleep, nutrition, movement, stress management, relationships — that support your whole self.

"More than managing symptoms — we give people the knowledge, skills, and support to understand themselves and make lifelong changes toward a healthier, more fulfilling life."

Good questions

Before your first visit

Do you take my insurance?

We're in-network with Aetna, Carelon, Cigna, Anthem (Blue Cross Blue Shield), and Magellan Health. If your plan isn't listed, send us a message and we'll verify your coverage before your first appointment.

Is this all done online?

Yes. Empower is a telehealth practice serving patients throughout California by secure, HIPAA-compliant video — from home, work, or anywhere private in the state.

Do you see teenagers?

Yes — we care for both adolescents and adults. For minors, a parent or guardian is involved in intake and the care plan.

Will I be put on medication?

Not automatically. Medication is one tool, used when it's clinically appropriate. Care may also include education, coping skills, therapy, and lifestyle changes — decided together.

What are your hours?

Appointments are available Monday and Wednesday evenings (6–10 PM) and Friday mornings (10 AM–2 PM), designed to fit around work and school.

What happens after I send the form?

We'll reach out (usually within one business day) to confirm insurance, answer questions, and schedule your first visit. Only your email is required to start.
